Founded in 2004, Wurster Exchange provides students in UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design an online platform to exchange second-hand class supplies. It serves students in architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, urban design, visual studies, art, photography, graphic design, and interior design programs, etc.

At the end of each semester, there is a considerable amount of art-related and model-building materials, equipments, tools, books and magazines left in studios. Many of them are expensive, resuesable, recycleable, but not refundable for money, and are trashed as a result. Students at the beginning of the next semester need to pay a substantial amount of money buying new supplies again.

Why do not we exchange these leftovers with other students and get some cash back, or buy something with better prices? Wurster Exchange is created to make this process easy!
